Hiking again after tendon surgery?

Hiking again after tendon surgery?
Hi hikers,
I'm after anyone who has experienced anything similar to my situation. I'm 10 months post-op from reattaching the tendon to my big toe after I foolishly dropped a knife on my foot that severed the tendon. I was off my feet for 6 weeks but then got straight back into working full time (physical, standing/walking work) and generally seem to be going well since then.
I do still get some jabs and soreness after a longer than usual day. Or if I'm carrying heavy items for prolonged periods. It worries me that I might have trouble with the load of a backpack, etc for overnight trips, but I do have a plan in place with my physio to slowly add weight and distance/elevation changes to my training.
All that is well and good, but I'm hoping to be fit enough for a 4-6 day backpacking trip by about July or August. Has anyone else recovered from something similar? Apparently tendons take a long ass time to heal and if I'm not careful could develop tendinitis. Just seeking tips and advice, cheers 🙂

Hair Removal

Hair Removal
Does anyone regret getting a Brazilian Hair Removal? I am currently getting it done, and I am wondering if my butt will chafe too much if all my hair is gone.

OK I've had a crush on my colleague since I started working here a few months ago and now I got her in our Secret Santa. I've been trying to figure out the perfect thing to get her and in doing so found nothing now I'm running out of time since we're doing it next week. She loves to hike and visit national parks, so I'd love to give her some thing that reflects those hobbies. Our budget is $25 but I'd be willing to spend a little bit more. Thanks so much!!
Preparing for the Manitou Incline

Preparing for the Manitou Incline
All,
I was hoping to tackle the Manitou Incline sometime next year (preferably in July). So I was hoping to get some advice on preparation. Not an avid hiker by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have time to get into shape. Any advice would be much appreciated. Also if y'all can recommend any similar (practice) hikes in the SF bay area, that might also be very useful.
