travel and rhum

I checked out a trail today that many people in my area absolutely rave about. It's talked about in the top 2 of area trails to explore most of the time.

I'm not trying to be a negative nelly or anything but, I really didn't understand what all the excitement was about. It was nice, just not "wow" level. I wouldn't even say it hits my top 5.

I know everybody likes their own thing and has their own reasons for liking certain areas. Maybe I made it out to be more than it was in my mind, based on how people talk about it. I don't know.

Has anybody else experienced this?
