Alpine beauty: Looking westward from the peak of Karwendelspitze (2385 m), Bavaria. From the village of Mittenwald I climbed the Dammkar, Germany’s longest (7 km) free skiing slope. Plus 40° inclination and an elevation of 1350 m. And as I don’t ski, I simply hiked down again with my snowshoes 😁
