Is a headache after a long hike normal?

Is a headache after a long hike normal?
Yesterday I achieved my longest hike yet, of 11 miles. (Pls don’t make fun of me, I know people have achieved much more!)
I maybe overdid it though and started feeling really crappy on the way back. My hands were swelling and I’ve had a headache ever since, like in my forehead area/behind my eyes. Is this normal? Is it just because I pushed myself more than usual and it was REALLY hot? I even thought I might’ve been a little dehydrated but drank a lot of water once I got home and it has persisted.

Hornet Hell

Hornet Hell
Hey, everyone- I had a pretty scary experience while hiking the other day. Apparently I stepped on a hornet’s nest, because about as soon as I noticed the first one, there were suddenly about fifty more. They all seemed to want to sting me. There was no water around, and desperately seeking a solution, I deployed my bear spray on them. It seemed to help get rid of several of them, although some continued to harass me for another mile (seemed like an eternity). I wasn’t stung at all and I made it to safety, thank God.
Looking for advice from those more knowledgeable than myself- did I do the right thing or what should I do in the event that this should happen again?
Thanks!
