Can I reassign these to someone? I am having foot problems and my partner and I will not be able to make this hike this year, sadly. Would love for someone to be able to put these to use!

Went up a trail that was a bit overgrown this morning. Thought nothing of it for a couple hours, then when I got home, it felt like something was crawling on me, but I didn’t see anything. Finally, I put my face this close to my legs (thank you, Yoga) and my calves were covered in tiny crawlies! I immediately doused my legs in rubbing alcohol, which took care of the loose/moving ones. I read that duct tape or even a lint roller can remove even more, so I did that. Finally, I busted out the tweezers are started removing the attached ones, one by one. I ended by shaving my calves and unearthing a few more. It took a solid hour, but I think I got them. This happened once before, deep in the Pandemic when we were all avoiding each other and I wandered up a deserted utility track that looked like fun. That time, after I got all them off, each bite swelled up, got oozy, and I couldn’t wear shoes for 6 weeks! Hoping I avoid that fate this time. So far, so good. Not even a single red mark anywhere. Now I’m just terrified I’ve missed one, coz they’re so damn tiny, or that they’re someplace I can’t see.

Hey r/hiking! I’ve been hiking here and there most of my life but just finished a spectacular hike in the white mtns and realized I’d like to get more serious about it while I’m still young and active. After spending years hiking in a crappy pair of boots I bought some Salomon Quests and they made such a huge difference on this past trip, and now I’d like to buy a quality pack to replace the crappy one I’ve been hauling! I’m leaning towards mystery ranch scree 32 for size/adjustability/quality but open to recommendations. For reference I’m 5’3” 120lbs so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!
