Hiked up to the summit of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, CA a week ago. I had camped at LYV and so was able to get to the cables at dawn, with no one around. Had the entire place to myself for the first hour. I have done this as a day hike in the past, but much prefer to camp at LYV.
