travel and rhum

We brought our dog on our hiking vacation and normally he does really well. The problem this time is that the trails are so busy and seemingly everyone has a dog with them. His nerves are just running a little higher than normal.

He gets really excited and does this crying yelping thing. It’s really embarrassing for us and I feel like everyone is looking at us like assholes. It’s normally not a big issue, but we don’t have many options being away from home. He’s never been aggressive, but obviously it creates issues when he wants to get near other dogs.

Any other ideas? We thought about getting him some CBD to help calm him?

EDIT: I guess I should mention, he is a super athletic dog and absolutely loves hiking, and also we would never have him un-leashed!
