Awareness while hiking!!

Awareness while hiking!!
Hey everyone!
Had a worst case scenario happen on a trail today and just wanted to make a quick post about it.
With the weather cooling down and leaves about to change, it's one of the best times to get out and hike but please remember situational awareness!
We did an out and back waterfall hike in NC today that was absolutely gorgeous and jam packed with people. Got to the end and sat to enjoy the view when the worst thing imaginable happened: someone went over the falls.
Our group and a nearby dad immediately scrambled over to find the guy, fortunately he popped up quickly, and we got to him. We called EMS, hiked out with him, and, as far as I'm aware, he's doing fine.
However, things could've just as easily gone a much worse route than it did.
Whether you're a well seasoned hiker or just starting, please please please be aware of your surroundings and stick to the three point contact rule if you're near a waterfall. Nature does not discriminate and one missed step (literally) could lead to something very bad.

How often do you go hiking?

How often do you go hiking?
Not a serious question, just wondering how often yall go. I would love to go more often but between my work commute and everyday life I can only realistically go once a week. I would love to go more often and sometimes can squeeze in another hike.
