Trekking poles?

Hi everyone, I’m a guy in my late 50s and I’m starting to have problems with arthritis in my big toes and knees. I’m not super-avid, but I like to do some hiking every year. My question is, what is your experience with trekking poles? Will they help extend my hiking career?

Men’s sock recommendations in general but also for people who do a lot of trails with stream crossings?


Men’s sock recommendations in general but also for people who do a lot of trails with stream crossings?

My socks are falling apart from all the hiking im doing, lol. I want socks that are generally good for hiking (I like just above the ankle style) but I also want to do some trails that involve stream crossings. So I need some socks that will dry quickly. Also I live in Arizona and my feet have never been cold, so not looking for particularly thick/warm socks either.Any recommendations?
