travel and rhum

My boyfriend and I just did Rocky Mountain National Park as our first real NP hiking experience and loved it. We want to plan another trip to see a different NP in the US.

What are your favorites? I’ve obviously heard of the popular ones but curious what everyone’s personal experience has been 🙂 Bonus points if you include what time of the year you went!

He knocked out after the hike.

Friend drove down 2.5hrs to Yosemite yesterday (Monday) morning.
Probably got there around 9-10am. He mentioned that he wanted to “do Vernon Lake” but wasn’t planning to stay the night so he figured he’d “be home around 1am” he mentioned the hike was “Hetch hetchy plus a little more”

I sent him a text last night before I fell asleep and again this morning at 6:30am and haven’t heard anything back.

If it’s the trail I think then AllTrails said it’s a 20mile hike.

I’m not sure where to go from here or when I should try to ask for help.

Edited to add: Cell signal is pretty spotty out there and he may have just fallen asleep in his car or something. Also, he’s bad about letting anyone know where he is so him not texting also isn’t that out of the ordinary.
