The best 20 minute hike / walk to the unbeatable views of iconic Mt. Fuji. I have seen it so many times on the postcards and I was finally there. The photos are taken from Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan.

What’s everyone’s go to after hike meal?

What’s everyone’s go to after hike meal?
Once I’m off the mountain or have finished a 12-20 mile hike all I want to do is crush some McDonald’s. Nothing hits better than a plain bacon McDouble, 6 nuggets with buffalo sauce, a large fry, and a coke.
Do you guys have a go to meal or any cravings after?
Can’t seem to get comfortable on technical terrain. Any advice?

Can’t seem to get comfortable on technical terrain. Any advice?
I’m a avid hiker. Gf will frequently go on hikes with me. She’s been getting after it for a few years now. While she has made tremendous progress on the cardio front, she still really struggling with more “technical” terrain. Meaning rocky, steep, muddy. Being on east coast this is something we encounter a lot of. She wants to get better at this but we just can’t seem to figure it out. When we walk into a technical section she pretty much has to come to a complete stand still and take baby steps, if it’s downhill she’ll often resort to going on her butt.
We’ve tried boots with more support, trekking poles, hand holding but she can’t seem to build up the confidence to navigate. Any advice?
