Tell me about your local mountain(s)
Specifically I'm curious if there is a certain peak near you that is "The Mountain" for your town, not necessarily in size but something that people hike a lot, or train regularly on. Or maybe the view of that peak from the town/town from the peak is really awesome. As an example, for Golden, Colorado, I think South Table Mountain qualifies. There are other peaks, but the view of south table from golden is pretty iconic, and I would guess that nearly everyone that lives in golden (and hikes) has been up south table.
