Hi
I’ve never used hiking poles before but I see them recommended all the time. I do some one-day hikes (15-25km = 9-15miles) with some average elevation gains (400-600m = 1.5-2.2 thousand feet) and my lower body generally is much stronger than my arms (eg squats are much easier than push ups).
I’m wondering if the poles can be beneficial for me as well because I see people using them and they use their upper body to pull themselves up whereas in general I don’t have this issue?
Thanks
