Backpack Advice, UK
Heya peeps, looking for some general recommendation/feedback on the three packs in my shortlist.
I currently have a Mystery Ranch. Its a tank. It works 2.4kg, so very heavy. Its a good pack, but I'm trying to go lighter, and there are a bunch of small annoying niggles. Like how I have to break my arm to get a drink from the side pocket.
So I'm looking to replace it, with one of these three:
Flex Capacitor 40-60 2023 1.4kg: Really like the expansion of the pack. Heard it carries weight very well. My winter kit is around 11-12kg currently. Price point is perfect for me. Huge belt pockets Heard worries regarding the zipping bucket lid. The back mesh pockets seem weirdly high. It's a lot of straps.
Flex Trail 40-60 1.4kg: Same sort of pros and cons as the Flex Capacitor, it weighs a little less and has much more adjustability in terms of fit. Worried it might be lesser build quality? Have only been able to find one review. (Messner) Also doesn't have the flexible Y-frame of the Flex Capacitor.
Gregory Focal 48 1.25kg: The side pockets are to die for. Heard good things about build quality. Worried my winter kit might be a squeeze at 48L. (99% sure I can do it, it's just going to require clever packing.)
If anyone has any other backpack recommendations around the 45L-55L mark that weighs 1.4kg or under. I'm all ears! (Bearing in mind it must have a frame, hipbelt and my budget is around £170.)
